Jet Field Notes is an independent publication for US surveying, construction, infrastructure, facilities, mining, and reality-capture professionals evaluating mobile LiDAR. Coverage follows real decisions: control, access, capture paths, safety, field QA, processing, costs, and handoff.
How reporting is checked
Manufacturer specifications are attributed and checked against current product documentation. Regulatory statements are checked against the responsible public agency. Workflow recommendations are tested against control, independent checkpoints, representative features, and the stated deliverable whenever field access is available. Limitations, exclusions, loaned equipment, and commercial support are disclosed in the relevant article.
What makes the journal different
The editorial focus stays on application fit rather than generic scanner rankings. Articles separate published product capability from achieved project results and avoid implying affiliation with Artec 3D.
