Topic selection
Topics are selected from decisions field teams face: route planning, control, platform choice, safe access, on-site QA, processing, deliverable design, and project economics. Generic scanner rankings and unsupported performance claims fall outside the editorial scope.
Evidence and testing
Current specifications are checked against manufacturer documentation. US rules and public standards are checked against primary authorities. Hands-on observations, when available, identify equipment, software, site conditions, control, and limitations. A demonstration arranged by a vendor is labeled as such.
Independence and corrections
Jet Field Notes has no official affiliation with Artec 3D. Relevant sponsorship, affiliate compensation, travel, or loaned equipment will be disclosed. Vendors may check factual product details but do not receive approval over conclusions.
